It has been a really bz 2 weeks or shd i say for the nx few weeks as well. Target wasn't met for the pass few mths so i guess its only normal that we gonna work triplely hard now. So ive been working for 12 hrs a day pretty often and i am going to work that long hours for the rest of the month.
My company booked the cinema to have our award presentation at Suntec City. I got my 2nd award and not fogetting the generous voucher that came together with it. I guess this kinda recognition does motivate us at least a bit. Ive been really motivated for the passed one week, and definately not just bcoz of the award. But its someting that my boss had done for me. Whether or not its going to be a success, at least i have gain that fruitful experience and learn someting new. My boss actually told me that even if its not successful this time round, she will not stop trying to help me with other opportunities. Yes i really owe her for this. So ive been working overtime willingly without any complains. haha!
So, our 4th year anniversary is coming. Went for our present hunting yesterday. And im glad that she found something that she like. I'll let her fill up the rest herself. So i shan't blog on that. And as for me, i guess im rather picky, so ive not really finalise on wat i wan yet. And my gf totally can't understand y is it so hard to get presents for me. hahaha!
Ok i have to go lay my hands on my books nw, 2 more papers to clear. And ive wasted my whole afternoon... sleeping. haha! Somebody tell me, wat can be a better way to pass time, other than sleeping?!!? Oh yes, and especially thats the only place that u can see urself becoming a millionaire, or having a hot dance wif fann wong? Oh baby, its jus a dream, dun pull my ear, coz i noe u like fann too! hahaha!
I dreamt that my gf gave birth to a baby ger! And omg she is so cute! She doesn't cry n she'll give that wide smile on her face when she wakes up. I so wana have a baby, n preferbly a ger. My gf says that she will only give birth if she doesn't have to work. Coz she wans to take care of the baby herself and be a good wife and mummy. haha! So now i gotta work extra hard to mk it happen!!

We were at Zouk on thur for butch hunt. Ok i am 1 of the morons who support e no smoking campaign in clubs. Ya wannna noe y? Cos for the longest time... i can finally breathe in zouk... haaaaaaaaaa... But Afi prefers the smoking crowds cos they numb her from smelling some clubbers with bad body odour. Oh man dat's so totally! i definitely prefer smokers den bad B.O. haaa!

Lets go Green!
So it was all about saving the earth yesterday. And all the channel logos that we always see on the top right hand corner of our tv everyday becomes green. Btw i wore green yest too to be part of the campaign. haha! I must say that Im really not a person who contribute alot to saving the earth. And im determine to help from nw onwards. Im gona say "I dun need a bag." everytime i get someting small from the supermarkets. Im not gona let the water run continuously when im like washing my face or bathing. Im not gona blast my aircon to a freezing 18 deg when 24 deg is just nice for me. Hey! Ive been doing all the above listed all these while! Hahaha! So unknowingly ive always been trying to save the earth! So lets all do it together and im sure we wil be able to lessen the pain that the earth is suffering now.
Oh yes we caught transformers! You noe memories of childhood just can't help flashing across my mind when i see familar characters lik Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee. Me and my elder bro use to watch the cartoon w/o fail. And i rem tt my bro has a Optimus Prime toy where it can b transform from that blue and red truck to this stylo mylo autobot! Eh, i dun rem owning any of such toy thou. I tink this jazz and Ironhide are modified. I dun rem them at all. Haha! I rem how i hated Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, that i will always hope and pray that Optimus Prime will be able to destroy it for good when i was young. I was abit dissapointed that the movie did not play the song that was played everytime the cartoon is shown back then.

Well ive been studying and i meant really studying my butt off this CMFAS.
I noe that tis is onli the begining and im onli lik study for one module now. There'll be another 2 module to study and tis time round its even worse. Coz the company will be paying for me to take the 2 module, i mus jolly well pass it or my boss will come huanting me! Frankly spking im realli not a study material. I get distracted very easily especially when im studying, but i can be realli focus while working. I dunno why.
It was a special day that wil onli happen once in a century yesterday. Date: 07-07-07. I celebrated my grandma's 79th birthday at this Chinese restaurant, Spring Garden at Chinatown. The mini pot of Buddha Jump over the wall was delicious. Gosh it cost about $45 per bowl. And each person have a share for themselves! We have 12 people at the dinner, so the beautiful starter itself cost alone $540 and we have yet to add in the price of the rest of the 7 dishes. The suckling pig and lobster was nice, and i wud say that the rest were just average. Rite after dinner dad drove me to my gf's house to mit her. Im glad i get to spend tis very special day not onli wif my family but wif my ever dearest gf too. A pity that i forgot to bring out my camera, so no pics for the day.

Miting up wif the old frens
Ok first of all, i wana thank my lovely gf for the sweet warming birthday that she has spend wif me. Well, nothing really matter more than the company of ur loved one on ur birthday every year. I can do it without a grand celebration wif hundreds of unfamilar faces attending the party. I just can't hv a birthday without my gf to spend the day with me. Even if it means that we just laze ard on the bed, having pillow talks, cuddling up one another, tis meant the world to me.. So a nite an Marina Mandarin was gd enuff. So ive seen the birthday entry tt she'd posted up, pictures say a thousand words. moreover theres lik tons of pics der, so i guess its enuff words said. haha!
Attended my poly classmate's wedding last nite. Initially i was kinda reluctant to go, coz frankly spking, i haven been seeing most of them since we graduated. I was surprised that everyting went well. I hv to say that zk broke the tension and we ended up having some small toks. And of coz not forgetting asking one another about each others' job and all. Actually i was really thankful to a few of them, coz i reckon if its not becoz of their help, i would hv failed n retained bk then. It was really them who literally took over my exam sheet to complete it for me. hahaha! Bk den zk n me were the worst in the class. We sat beside one another during KKC's lesson and we just tok none stop. We are freaking slack and we slps thru lectures most of the time. And if we dun, it meant tt we did not attend the lecture at all. Haha! Surprising today we r doing better ( in terms of our salary) compare to the top students in our class. Btw zk is one of the best financial advisors out der i must say, at the age of 25 tis yr, he's oredi at the Million Dollar Club, and his freaking name actualli appeared on the pprs. Well, so of coz im one of his clients too. haha!
Recently ive tok to my boss abt transfering me to another dept. My boss have agreed to do so and she'd help me send my resume to the HR. I do hope they will reply soon! Ok im off to study for my m5 ppr! Ahhhh!! im onli left wif less than 3 weeks, and frankly spking, im onli at chapter 2! My gf is so gonna kill me when she reads tis, which she wil be reading it shortly! hahaha!
Baby, i just wan u to noe that i love u no matter wat ok? So cheer up! Coz ni shi bao bao lah!!! wahahahhahaa!! ok... tis is our secret, so outsiders wouldn't noe wat im toking abt....
Oh btw we r going to attend this cupcake making lesson and im about the pass the check to my gf for the fees. We've decided to start our little biz once we can successfully made ur cute and yummy cupcakes. So pls do support us!! Will post up more details in the future!

Lamingtons Lamingtons....
Be contented w wat u have... Yeah i am v contented w wat i have now! Wat could be better being jobless and still able to shop..to buy wat i wan and to eat all the good food! To top it off... Evon just msg me she bought lamingtons all the way frm Cairns for me! hahahaa... Lamington is one of my fav snacks back in my Oz days... Well dat explains why i was so fat. haa.. Thanz so much gal!
I am sure everyone knows that Richard Yong, the ex chairman of NKF had fled. hahaha Oh boy, wat the hell is he thinking? wat's pt of running away and living in perpetual fear of being caught? Well if u ask me.. i suggest he goes for a plastic surgery now. Ha!
Talking abt plastic surgery and being pretty... I read frm fashion nation that french women are notoriously secretive when it comes to sharing their style and beauty secrets. OOOooooo but y? haha.. i used to be v eager to share how this particular skin product works on my skin.. where i cut my hair and where i buy my dresses frm. Actually it does make sense that y u shouldnt share your secrets to everyone when u did so much research, spent so much $ experimenting on a particular dermatologist and skin products.
Extremely abhor those gals who tell me that they got no secret to ur flawless skin and make me catch them buying extravagant products frm Cle de Peau and La Mer everytime i'm in town. From now on whenever any1 asks me how i clear my pimples i will just tell them that one fine when i got up, they disappeared suddenly (for ur info i used to be a pimple girl) hahahaha!
We were at vivo last sat for shopping and movie....Every restauarant were so packed and had such a long Q of pple that we gave up queueing and settled our dinner at Thai accent. After dinner we went on shopping... my darling gf bought me a shade frm River Island! Thanz darling!!!! Million hugs and kisses 4 u! River Island is our new fav place to shop. They got so many pretty dresses. I bought a black tube dress and my gf bought a top there too.
While waiting for Darren & Evon to join us for movie we found Naraya... woooh... How cool is dat.. now u dun have to fly to bkk to get naraya anymore. Btw if u r curious of wat movie we watched... well it's spider lilies. Go catch the movie if u r a rainie yang's fan. Y? Darren fell asleep during the show. Evon & i quite cluessless abt the storyline... Only my gf loves it. Well enuff said.
I realise i am extremely generous with the usage of exclamation mark today.. I cant help it. I am a jobless and happy gal! haaaaaaaaaaa!!

The Great Singapore Sale
Ive always hv this love and hate feeling for the mth of June. The love - is for my birthday. So its always a day that i get to spend wif my loved ones. Be it my group of buddies or my ever dearest gf. The hate - is for the yearly event, great singapore sale!! So i will be spending all my money buying the tings that i like before i receive all my bdae presents. Frankly speaking i don't see much discounts during the sale, or rather the discounts isnt that much that one can start grabbing a top less that $30. I reckon ppl just start buying during GGS coz they see others buying too. Well i guess thats for me. Coz of all the items that ive bought for the pass 2 days, none of them were on sale. And i got a 10% discount for the black denim and green top from TOPMAN was thru my gf's discount card instead. My gf finally bought her "jungle dress" from WAREHOUSE. hahaha! and its not on sale either. I got 2 caps, a white one from River Island and a demin one from Zara. And still.... they r NOT on sale!! Oh man, can somebody pls tell me where i can get some new clothes at a realli discounted price?! I do feel a little dumb getting excited over The great singapore sale but buying tings at the nett price instead. Ok i saw Esprit having 2 polo tees going at the price of onli $69.90. I reckon thats a gd deal, considering its from Esprit. Unfortunately they do not hv the size for this fat ass here.
So theres another one more mth to go for more crazy shopping before the stupid GST increase to 7%!!! Gosh, by den i hv to start buying clothes from Pasar Malam and eat at hawker centre everyday so that i wun be slap by that high tax! I was toking to my dad abt tis GST ting...
Dad: Probably they wil increase it to 10% in 1 or 2 yrs time
Me: Huh.... So high. Lik tt sale lik no sale lik tt...
Dad: Then it wil increase to 12%
Me: WAT!
Dad: and slowly maybe even 15%.
Me: Ok by then we wil migrate to somewher else. Coz i tink all my salary wil jus goes to the government!
Then my dad nodded his head while laughing off.
We watched Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek 3 for the pass few days. I guess i wasn't too much of a fan for the Pirates. But i sure do love that Green ogar and that dumb donkey. My company actually gave out free tix for Pirates of the Caribbean on last Thurs but i was on MC so i didn't get to watch it for free. Just in case if you're wondering that I actualli keng my MC, you are so WRONG!! I was so freaking sick, n my temperature shot up all the way to 39.2 deg Cel. I thought i was dying. My gf accompany me to Raffles Hospital and i waited a billion yrs for my turn. I could hardly open my eyes man. I though those patients who were suffering from fever wil be seated away from the usual crowd. But for my case nothing was mention n i just have to sit in the noisy crowd! I was on MC for 2 days where my fever come and go. It has been long since i was last so sick. But im glad that im fine now.
The weather is really killing me. Oh yah n one more hate for the month of June, coz its extremely HOT loh! We've got no choice but to chg our usual golf lesson to Friday evening, after my work. So by then the sun wil be setting and i will not die of heatstroke anytime soon.

Graze, Marmalade pantry and Cafe Del Mar
I was spring cleaning and guess wat i found! hahaa a cut out of party of five! haaaaa do u still rem dat? aww dun u juz miss party of five, ally mcbeal and and scrub? I was such a fan of ally mcbeal that i wouldnt miss a single episode. Sometimes i juz miss those sec days.. where life were so simple... and easily contented...
Oh did i mention i was a BBC back in those days? ok in case u duno wat's a BBC.. it actually stands for Boy Band Chaser. haaha! i got so happy when i got hold of the lastest Backstreet boy album... i was so happy when i gotta see boyzone on Smash hit mag. Well i am juz a typical convent gal..
But now i cant even bother who's on the billboard chart... who release wat so ever album... who's is on watever mag... non of those can make me happy anymore.
I wonder y life cant be dat simple anymore.
I've found this cd too.. i bought it 10yrs ago. The Cranberries, they still rock after so many years........

Cupcakes!!

Though ABOF dessert was disaapointing but their cupcakes are great!
Last tue we were at Cafe del mar celebrating Evon's bday...
ABOF was disappointing... the restaurant was almost vacant... except our table was occupied. The warm choc cake wasnt dat fantastic as well.
Marmalade Pantry last sat... Heard they serve nice cupcake but we were late all the cupcakes were sold out when we go there.... but the cakes were great! After tea, we went to get Evon's present at Coach and i bumped onto Claud... ahhaa love her *bling bling* D & G specs...
My gf took the 2days off and we went mobile! We had a smashin 2days! Darling drove me to get a late night bean curd, drove to kallang to try their famous prawn noodle, drove to harbour front to have lunch and get my aldo shoes, drove to PS for dinner and ktv w darren and evon. haa it's usually darren will drive us home but this time we we drove them home...!

Crazy Weather, Crazy Hair
Recently the weather is getting crazy! Its so hot that i tink i can cook an egg on the road! And now im feeling feverish, with abit of flu. You noe tis is all signs of falling sick, n it will jus follow by a really bad sore-throat, never ending cough, tis kena-beaten-up-body aching, and a bucket of phelgm in my throat. I really hate tis! I can nv get things done or get tings rite when im sick and i wun even feel lik goin out in the hot sun walking at Orchard Rd. I will jus feel as though im gonna faint anytime. I hate it to be sick coz i'll be feeling dizzy that half of the time i dunno if im just in a dream or was it in real life.
And i totally hate it when the people in my office loves to work in the desert!!! Ok the normal aircon temperature shd be ard 23 degress rite? And of coz it wud b better if its even lower, coz... hello! we are in Singapore! The country that has got the "4" seasons? Warm, Sunny, Sunnier, Burnt! Aggrrhhhzzz..... The most interesting ting is that ur fellow colleagues just lik to OFF the aircon?!! or if not they will claim tt they did not switch it off, they jus turn it to a higher temperature. So when u walked over to chk wat the damn temperature was, you see 30 degress!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! den wats the point of working in the office?! Why not they just work downstairs in the open air wif the Bangalas!!
Anyway i so need a hair cut! My hair is so thick that i can jus overturn myself to help my mum to sweep the floor. i like tis hair of Wu Zun. But i realli duno if my hair is long enuff to get the effect. I hope Gary can help me wif tis. haha!
My gf wans to try her virgin attempt wif the cupcakes baking soon. She wans to try to be a gd housewife so that she wun need to work and make nice food for me to fill up my oredi-very-huge-stomach. So tmr we are going to get the ingredients for her! Hope she will succeed! And i happened to find the recipe for lamingtons for her. She used to eat them lik everyday when she's back in Aust. She must hv missed them so much.

I'm Cursed!
I reckon I'm really cursed or possessed by some shopaholic ghost! i juz cant stop buying... help! hahaa money dat comes to me will be gone in the next min... i am so hopeless.
Let's see wat i have bought in just 2 weeks:
-2 dress from warehouse
-1 dress from Miss Selfridge
- 1 more from forever 21
- white shorts from mango
- a pair boots from zara
- cosmetic from chanel
- Agnes b bag
- golf shoes
Total damage : $1228!
Thanks to Daddy that he allowed me to redeem his credit card points for vouchers. So actually i only spent ard $300 outta the $1228. But dats not the point! hahaa i need to curb spending. Uhmmmm but but.... there are more things i wanna buy... like this Chanel necklace ( there are only 2 pieces in spore how can i not get it?!!! ) and more clothes and shoes....they r all so pretty.. how can i stop shopping. haa! that kinda explains why i love the shopaholic series by Sophie Kinesella so much. I can totally related myself to Becky Bloomwood.
Ok i have tot of ways to get some of the things dat i really really really want...
1st - redeem more shopping vouchers from daddy's credit card (ermm which i had already redeem abt $1000 worth of shopping vouchers)
2nd - find a job ( which i hate most )
3rd - beg my sis to lend me some of her saving ( evil tots... haha but she has got plenty of $ dat she saves and saves and doesnt use it hahaa...)
4th - Last resort .... beg my dearest sweetest nicest gf to pay for me 1st ( i swear i will pay back, well u have to trust me on dat, i got good track records..haaaaa!)
Well i hope the above works.... * pray hard*

Anyway here's the recap of wat we had done over the week end.... as usual we went shopping again! My gf finally got her Paul Smith Shirt... look how elated she was... oh forget to mention her heart aches as well... this shirt cost $335!
After all the shopping we went to makan at taka to have jap food ... my gf said she has to withdraw $ frm the atm as the store doesnt accept cards, so i had to wait alone. It took her quite some time b4 she got back... but she came back with Royce's new strawberry choc for me! dats so sweet of her...
Went giraffe for a drink after dinner... i was disappointed that they dun serve dessert after 10. Anyway giraffe was nothing fantastic ... we got bored after awhile and started playing games with her left over coins! hahaah dats all the gf's idea...
oh next week we r goin .... graze!!!

My long weekend
This long weekend passed so quickly. And now its oredi sunday. Gosh... its bk to work tmr again. Sometimes i just wish tt i can be really positive abt my work, and that i would love to work 7 days a week... den i guess i will b happier. haha!
Anyway my gf bought me a tshirt from agnes b, on top of tt i bought a polo tee for myself! It does feel gd to be pampered, be it by myself or by my gf.
My long weekend wasn't too much of an adventure. A rather relaxing one spent wif the loved one. We had this award presentation on Thur after work. I was presented the Silver award for my sales performance. Finaly i feel a sense of appreciation after working for more than 2 yrs. Met my gf n off we went to Suntec to get my new handphone!!!
Went to Vivo City after that. Was just shopping ard and bought some snacks from Diaso. Had our dinner at this Japanese restaurant. I can't rem the name of that place. They serve delicious Yakitoti! But when the bill came, i thought they brought me the wrong one.. haha! I didn't realise that we ate so much. Unfortunately i forgot to bring my cam n darling's sis had brought hers to Japan! So no pics...
Actually we planned to spend our Good Friday at Sentosa. Was suppose to find out more abt sentosa on thur nite when we got home, however my gf feel aslp halfway msning wif me. So no work was done, coz i was bz playing ard wif my new fone. We woke up rather late the next morning, n we decided to abandon our Sentosa trip idea.
Again to went to VIVO CITY coz SHE was bugging me for cupcakes! i duno where the hell i can find cupcakes for her (she wouldn't allow me to replace the cupcakes wif muffin. Thou i tink they r the same!) and so thankfully we saw this place tt sell cupcakes the day b4 when we were at Vivo. And town is getting boring. We can nv tink of wat to eat in town. Its always the same place.. n we got so sick of it. Most importantly, the Ger wans to shop, and Vivo City is her new shopping place!
We had our dinner rather early to avoid the dinner crowd. But still we gotta que for abt 15mins at Dian Xiao Er. Yummy! The skin of the roasted duck is so crispy loh. Of coz after dinner she cont wif her shopping rendevous! And finally we settled down at Corduroy. So she was all so excited abt her cupcakes, but in the end..... they suck...
Wanted to chk out at Graze on Saturday, but they were fully booked and as for the bar, they r holding a private function. So we settled at One Rochester. Lousy service. And the Ger was mad tt they dun serve any deserts! After that we went down to Chinatown to hv Chang Cheng Zhou! Great supper, Great company!

I wish my brothers will ...
It feels gd to slp late on a wed morning. Oh yes im at home online blogging now on a Wed afternoon. Which means im not at work, which oso means im on MC! I love nuaing at home, unfortunately my gf is at work. So im on msn now keeping her company.
I was toking to my mother over lunch just now...
Mum: wat do u wana get for ur brother on his birthday?
Me: give him ang pow loh.
Mum: ohh.. was tinking mayb u can buy him a new wallet. coz the wallet tt u bought him few yrs ago spoil oredi. So long oredi n he still using it.
Me: k loh, den i buy wallet for him.
Mum: Yah if not u giv him money, he wil jus kp . oso wun buy a nice wallet for himself
Me: haha! ok sinz he has grown up, hw abt a leather wallet for him?
Mum: You mus ask him mah.
Me: Wa lau, he oso dun tok. Ask oredi he oso wun answer me....
Mum: sigh...
I really envy ppl who are really close wif their siblings. There are ppl whom ive seen even going out clubbings wif their brothers, shopping wif their sisters... I wish i m as close to my brothers as well. Well i still do tok to my elder bro, but theres realli not much opportunity or topic to tok abt. Sometimes when we r at home, we dun even say a single word to one another, n we'll walk pass one another as if we are transparent. Seriously i dun quite like tis feeling. Sometimes i wish i can tok to my brothers abt my unhappiness at work, about the happy tings that happend to me, or even jus to hv a drink together outside? Or maybe we can go shopping at agnes b together? All these nv happen, n i doubt it wil ever happen. And as for my younger brother, its even worse. I dun even rem when was the laz time i tok to him. Or rather when did we ever hold a proper conversation together. He is always v quiet at home. But when he is outside, i can see him joking wif lik my cousins, aunties, even his frens. However when any of us in the family ask him anyting, he would jus ignore us. I really can't help but to feel tt he hates this family. Or did we do anyting wrong? I really wish we can jus hold a proper conversation, joking and laughing together jus lik hw we were when we were young....
If only i can turn bk time, i would wana be closer to my 2 brothers.....

Way back into Love
Finally this unbearable March has come to an end. It was so torturing without any public holidays nor can i jus lik keng a day of mc to rest at home. It was a really bz mth and quite an impt one to me i would say. So im glad its all over. Watever the results may be, I'll leave that to God's will. Ive tried my best i guess.
Woohoo~~ Its the begining of a brand new mth, which oso means PAYDAY!! i love payday! And tis mth my baby pamper me wif tis tshirt from agnes b. So in order to help her earn more pts, i got another green polo tee. New clothes! i love new clothes! Thanks baby! She got herself quite a few new set of clothes too and i tink she's happy!
Oh yah i was telling my gf that i so need to blog about our experience at Akashi @ Paragon. The price is far too steep for the food they serve! The variety is so damn limited. Even Ichiban Boshi is so much better. The service sux, totally impatient. Well i must say that the sashimi there is really fresh but i guess i would rather hv it at Sun and Moon at Wheellock Place. They serve really gd Sashimi and there's more variety. Most importantly the price is just abt the same. So im not goin Akashi anymore!!!!
We headed down to Cityhall jus nw after golf and we bought tis from Citylink
Bought her tis box of Chocolates from Sins the other day, but she didn't pick the one tt i was tinking of!!
Is it just me or do anybody out there feel the same way as i do? Everytime when i listen to this song, Way Back into Love, i'll tink about the times when i 1st dated my gf. I love asking her question n teasing her about the early part of our relationship. I love thinking about how we 1st met at this education fair, how i kept her company over the fone when she's all alone at nite, how we got together even though we're miles apart, how we had our 1st kiss, how i spend 3/4 of my savings jus to see her, how we spend 3 weeks in aust together, how we cried during our down times, how to fought and end up hugging each other tightly, how i play with her hair, how she tried to perm my hair lik PCK, how she lie on my shoulder, how i held her hand n put on tt ring on her finger, how we took the plane together for the 1st time, how we laze around together, how we cuddle up together on the bed, how we picked each other up from work, how i nv fail to send her a sms every morning when i go to work, how i introduced her to my friends, how i tease and scare her, how we plan for our future, how to drew out our floorplan for our future house together, how to watch a movie together, how we played silly games and laugh our heads off, how we watch a sunset together, how we save and b thrifty during our poor days, how we splurge on one another when we are better off now.... how i still will choose the same path even if i can turn bk time... its all so beautiful... And our 4th year will be soon to come..... Thats goin to be another beautiful memory...

Bye bye PSP..... Hello tamagotchi...
Look! i have a tamagotchi! ok i noe some will think that i am childish.. but so wat... i like it! hahaa i still rem those days when i was young i used to have 1. Yest my gf bought a new one for me as she's worried that i am bored at home. Thanz baby... u r the best!

Phantom of the Opera
We finally watched Phantom of the Opera yest! Look at the tix.. Our seat! it's 2nd row from the stage..hahaa i have to admit it's too near.... till i can see the nostril of the actors/actress. The musical yest was magnificent! it's worth my 13 yrs of waiting. My fav are Meg Giry and the Phantom (Brad Little).. haha cos Meg Girly ( Nadia Komazec) is so much prettier den Christine...haa actually i prefer the Christine played by Sarah Brightman... U will noe wat i mean if u heard Sarah Brightman's.
My gf asked me a Qn which i really duno how to ans.. She asked " the phantom only appear lk a few scene why he got the most applaud?" I reckon is bcos he's the phantom? Phantom of the opera? the lead? hahaha... My gf is so cute!
Oh I've to comment that the orchestra was awesome! I'm v impressed by Vanessa Scammell, the conductor... It reminds me of my dream to become a conductor when i was sec 4, cos my newly hired band conductor Mr Lim is such a loser! haa She did a great job. The musical wouldnt be a success w/o a such an outstanding orchastra. After curtain down we went forward to watch the orchastra play. I reckon they were happy to see so many pple went forward cheer and applaud for them. Well some kuku will not realise the existence of the orchastra as they were playing understand the stage.
I like Masquerade and angel of music most! Wat say u?
The black book is the program guide.. i bought it for a freaking 25bucks!

Last sat we finally went to P.S Cafe at Dempsey Road... Thanz to Babe who brought us there... The food was fantastic! and indeed there r alot of ang mo there...It's not a place that we can afford to go everyday.. haa our dinner cost us abt $80+.

Back dated entry
My gf just sent me these fotos that we've took lik weeks ago while having our early dinner at Ichiban Boshi. Its Saturday again! Can anybody suggest where can we go on a Saturday nite???? Its always Movie after Dinner... Any fun place to reccomend?

Im feeling Good!
It was a compulsory after work event on Thursday arranged by the Company to attend this free seminar. So the usual responses will be "Wa lau Sian!", "Huh... cannot mit bf/gf..", "Really must go meh?!", "Can claim cab fare?!". My initial response was like Sian man.. and was planning to Chao halfway. But in the end i actually stayed thruout the 3 hr talk without any complains. And my initial plan to sneak off halfway totally disappeared.
I would say that Adam Khoo is indeed an excellent speaker. And his talk is really interesting and motivating. Its so unlike those boring seminars tt can mk me yawn like 789 times in 1 hr. He got everybody involve and participate during the talk. He told us alot of true stories about his students and some of them even appeared in the papers before. The method that he teaches you how to succeed in life and attain ur goal is really fantastic. There was a special discount tt nite at $1800 for the course for the 1st 15 ppl that signed up. Well, indeed i was hesitating, coz the price seem reasonable. However i backed out coz im having too much committment nw, like for my studies? And if i have the spare cash in the future, i would wana sign up for the course tog wif my gf!
Indeed the talk kept me in high spirits even until now. I tried out the tactics that he thought on my customers and i realised in a way or another it really worked. Although i did not manage to close the deal for tis particular customer, but i can feel that i manage to talk some sense into him. I did not feel agitated like hw i would b in the past, in fact i felt great even after he rejected my offer.
I hope tis spirit will continue and hopefully its not just a moment of joy...
Oh btw, just watch Music and Lyrics. Its a nice show. Worth spending 2 hrs and $19 on it. I like the song in the show that Hugh Grant sang tog wif Drew Barrymore, Way back into love... And i also like the song that Hugh Grant sang during Cora's concert for Drew Barrymore, Don't write me off... Fantastic!!

Gong Xi Fa Cai
Theres so much that had happend these 2 weeks. Ok n nw its time to have a quick recap.
Just before the CNY mood sets in, it was the LOVE-IS-IN-THE-AIR day. Yes, u're rite, Valentine's Day. And for us, we nv tk tis day jus lik a normal day. Coz i would believe that there's always time that couples do take one another for granted and i dun believe that it is everyday a swt day for all the couples out der. Though to me Valentine's Day doesn't mean that it is a day for u to treat ur loved one extremely well, but it is a day for me to appreciate and remember all the gd tings about my gf and of coz to feel blessed to have her wif me till now. As it was a working day, so the day time was nothing much of a diff than a normal wkday. I got ppl to deliver flowers to her house but she was out! So i gotta get her sis to collect the bouquet on behalf instead.
After work, we met up and hv dinner at Chijmes, Esmirada. I guess we didn't really like the kinda food they served. The ambience and service was fantastic. I would say that overall was still ok.
CNY eve
I had my reunion dinner at Owen Seafood Restaurant at Turf City. The food was fantastic! In fact none of the dish in the menu was dissapointing. The salted egg crab is their famous dish and it live to the name! You jus can't stop putting one more in ur mouth... Thinking abt it mks me drool. and after dinner was the same yearly routine to the temple at Waterloo street to pray for luck, health and everyting gd for the coming new year.
CNY Day 1
Every year we would get up of bed early in the morning to bai nian wif my parents. And in return we got our Ang baos! Then we will set off as a family to my Nai Nai house as the 1st stop of the day. Collect more more ang baos! Snack abit, comparing the pineapple tarts that my mum and my aunt made. Its weird that they dun really taste the same though they used the same receipe.. After all the snacking we will head down to the temple where my Ye Ye is "staying" to pray again. He has passed away since i was 16 and this practice has been goin on sinz den. So usually it wil take 1hr plus before to set off for the 2nd stop, which will be my grandma house (Mother's side). Its alwaz a love and hate feeling when i hv to go der every yr. And the onli ting gd is that il get more ang baos there. Other than that, its really quite torturing to stay there. Coz all the Aunties and even my grandma will jus start their yearly question... "How come no bf?!" So il jus smile in silence. And my cousins will just smile at me cheekily. So once i manage to escape from all those nosey aunties, i would join my cousins for lunch and then it wil b another question. "Hows you and your gf?". Ok at least ders someting for me to answer...
CNY Day 2
Finally i can meet my gf and we went over to Darren house for a mini reunion dinner. She prepared lotsa food and we had a sumptous steamboat and "Loh Hei"!! I love to loh hei!
23-02-07 (Friday)
Rite after work i took a bus bk to Balestier to have a gathering wif my Primary Sch frens. I missed 1 bus and i waited for 30 mins for the next one to come!!! And when the bus came to Orchard, that is when it drove me crazy. The traffic was practically stagnant for at least 15mins when it came to Ngee Ann City. I decided to tk a short nap sinz the traffic is not moving. Den when i woke up, guess wat? Im still at Ngee Ann City!! The exact same location. Wa lau! Really nv even move an inch loh! In the end it took me abt 1hr30mins to rch balestier! GOSH!
We has the famous Yu Tou Lu at Whampoa market. Haha! I dun really fancy it but its the catching up part that is impt. It was so noisy at the market wif some new yr singing machiam Qi Yue Ge Tai loh. So we decided to head down to Quality Hotel as Lijun was saying that the Lounge was gd. It turn out so so to me onli thou. Went over to my colleague's house for "Black Jack". And turn out i lost a few $. But i guess its still quite ok, its CNY man! Hw can dun gamble?!
24-02-07 (Saturday)
I woke up at 5.45am! Yes it is 5.45am!! Darren and Evon came over to fetch me to bugis for the fortune telling. Darling came down shortly after we reach. I would say she's really accurate and waking up that early was all worthwhile. Its not too convinient to reveal the details here. All i could say is that to be weary of the ppl who seems to care for you most at work. Coz they mite turn out to be the greattest back stabber of all. I guess its going to be a tough route ahead at work and yet i can't give up. I really wish im a real jing gang man! After that we went bk home to sleep.
Headed down to marina sqr wif my gf after our beauty slp. We had dinner at this Jap restaurant, Ministry of Food. wahahaha!! The food was good! The ramen was tasty! As it was our 3yr 7mth Anniversary (Darling u forget rite!), we decided to hv a lomantic nite. haha! The Atrium at Marina Mandarin. The vocalist was damn power loh. The 2 violinist and the pianist turn out to be the man's, who played the double bass, daughters. ISn't this cool?! To perform in a family? They played really well and its really worth spending a few hrs there relaxing, listening to soothing music that will really calm ur heart.
