We are back frm Taipei! We've been so bz frm the very min we touched down... Shall blog abt our taipei trip in the next entry as i haven got the time to sort out the pics yet..

Sat i met up w the cousinz for shopping. Shopping on a weekend was crazy esp during festive season. There were so many pple in all the shops. Esp Lv.. It was as if Lv was having some 90% off or something.
My gf came to join us later.. and she got me a Roxbury frm Lv! That makes me a v happy gal for this xmas. I was beaming all day long... :) Thank you baby!

Anyways fairytales aside, its less than half week before to depart for Taipei. And we r both really excited. Its not like its the first time we r going on a trip together or sitting in a plane together. But it feels realli gd when u noe that u can b away from stressful work and jus spend some quality time wif ur loved one. especially when its in a cold country, where u can kp cuddling one another w/o feeling hot n sticky all over. I guess we r kinda prepared, other than our unpacked luaggages and some medication where we need to buy. So we r going to the money changer tmr. Bad news, my parents mite b away from Singapore on the day i arrive bk. Shit! that means daddy is not goin to pick me up. that mks me realli sad. I guess i have to tk a cab home. And i realli dun lik tt feeling somehow. Ok the time is ticking off approaching 12midnite. Which means its.... PAYDAY! Woohooo! i love tis day most, more than my own birthday!

My brother and karen's wedding

It was a really bz day, in fact i hardly slept that nite. Woke up abt 6am as i wasn't able to slp anymore. Guess mummy was even more excited than i m. She woke up at 4.30am and still looking so fresh for the whole day. My brother had abt 12 xiong dis, including my younger brother, and karen had 8 jie meis. so its lik a total of 20 of them. haha! So the guys set off at abt 6.45am to fetch the bride. After the tekan session that made my brother ate this "cong" bread, they head bk home. btw my brother hated cong jus like i do. n luckily he had this thai fren who kinda fancy cong.


So when they were bk, theres tonnes of photo takings to go thru. after the tea ceremony and more photo takings, the buffet has arrived. The guests started eating after a long and tiring morning. Some of my cousins wasn't able to get leave but majority still came. And its realli very nice of all the frens and relatives who specially take leave n not slping in late to join in the fun.

After the groom went over bk to the bride's house for the tea ceremony wif the bride's family, the zee monster kicked in to me. took a short nap b4 i went down to Shunji Matsuo at wisma to have my hair done by Nashiki. Took a cab down to Marina Mandarin rite after that and got chg in the bridal suite. took some pics here and there, had some sandwiches that my brother ordered to kp themselves full as they wil not get to eat much tonite.





It was indeed a long awaiting day after them to walk down the red carpet. After being together for more than 10yrs, its finally the day where i can address her as dasao! N it feels so gd to hv a sister in law. Mayb bcoz ive alwaz wanted to hv a sister. And im so blessed that she's not the difficult kind. She is so easy going and well liked by everybody! She had just stuff me with lotsa stuffs which i may need when i go taiwan n providing me wif all the info that she noe abt taipei base on her experience when she used to fly der.

Anyways, we went to take a look at the new T3 yesterday. Its really kinda big. will post up more pics on that when my gf has loaded the pics. we spent quite a few hrs der den we decided to chk out T2, to see wat kinda light snacks we can hv der on the day when we leave for taiwan. We head down to town to see if we can grab anyting at AX on their sale. So each of us got an item for ourselves. Met up with Darr and Evon to La Fondue at Dempsey Rd. They served amazing fondue, thou the price is a little steep, but the melted chocolate was delicious! Oh n Darr came to pick us up in her new Honda Airwave. Its so spacious and i guess we love the moon roof most! We shd go see stars one day n it will b amazing bro! N ltr it was to Thomson to have the crispy prata! Ma ma mia~~

Yes! 10 more days to taiwan! btw... my gf asked me to redesign the blog to hv a xmas theme.... im cracking my head.....

My Chanel 2.55

Yeah! I finally got my dream bag.. The Chanel 2.55!!!
I so wanna blog about my bag so badly but i got sick for two freaking weeks...
Anyway i bought the bag on the 31st Oct which was the last day before Chanel increase their price ( by 20% i heard ). I should have bought the bag on dat dat when Anthea told me abt it, cos there wasnt much bags left when i got there the last day. Wanted to get either the east west with gold hardware or the timeless clutch, but all of them were outta stock! I nearly wanted to just settle for the east west silver hardware..
when my gf said this to me "aint the very traditional and classic 2.55 suppose to have double flap? but the east west doesnt have.." Her words kinda woke me up.. Y the hell do i get the east west for? I am glad i made the rite choice with the classic flap.

I am quite surprised that my gf actually rem wat i told her abt chanel flap bags. hahaha cos she usually shut her ears or feign sleeping when i talk about chanel, loewe and hermes...
Haa! she's even better den those pple i read at the forum who claim to be an avid fan of chanel but yet cant differentiate btw a east west and a double flap.
You never noe... perhaps by nx yr my gf can tell u all the kinds of bag chanel has. haaaaaaaaa!!!

Oh i need to thank Daddy for making my dream come true... He paid half for the bag! Daddy muz be having good mood lately.Hee..
He made me a very very happy gal. Erm.. elated should be used instead.

My Chanel 2.55 with gold hardware

Tue we were at Raffles City..My darling gf noticed dat i couldnt take my eyes off the carousel and secretly bought it for me when i went to the toilet! Aww how sweet can she be... I was so touched that i couldnt say anything but endless thank you....

We decided to check out this cafe called the Miss clarity cafe on a mon evening b4 sch... They actually gave us a jug of water.. hee save the hassle of asking the waitress for refill. The deco of the cafe is quite colorful.. haha perhaps dat explains y their slogan is Miss clarity is where happy pple go.

Well the food was average... but the cheese fries were great! hahahaha We will definitely be back for the fries anytime!

My gf was bz the whole fri as it was her bro's wedding, so me and Evon had a gers nite out again! but we 4got our cam.. so no pics. Oh ya Evon bought me this tube from Mango as a early X'mas gift. Like it so much dat i wore it the next dat... Thanz Evon!

To compensate the time dat my gf din spend with me on fri.. She brought me to my fav Canele to have dessert on Sat. She had the cheese and egg crepe... Canele not only serve great dessert but fabulous food too!

Then we went photo taking with the xmas deco at taka and wisma. Oh ya u see the black tube dat i was wearing ? it was bought by Evon. Pic too small cant see the design on my tube.. from far it looks juz lk a normal tube rite? but it's not! :( haa shall take a better pic the next time i wear it.


The dessert and crepe didnt keep our stomach occupied for long.. we were soon hungry. And this gave us an excuse to have our supper at the Oasis taiwan porridge before they close down for good this Dec. Look at the cup! They r still using the same cup after so many yrs... I am gonna miss taiwan porridge so much.. esp my fav cuttlefish ball.

I duno what happen, but im jus feeling so low rite now. But theres really nothing bad happening to me. Perhaps its PMS. Im still a ger afterall. haha! I jus login to my IB and i realise that my freaking pay is NOT even in my ledger balance!!! I tink tis makes me 100x more pek chek than i was 10mins ago. damn. im jus so gonna stare at my computer screen till 12am. So that i can chk if the pay is in. Im so freaking broke, so pls DO NOT play tricks on me at this point of time.

Shit. I jus wish theres something happy that will happen to me now. I really hate to feel it this way. This has really been a tiring mth. 1st, its a long long mth. 2nd, work has been so damn hectic. 3rd, i duno.. its still work has been so hectic. ha! I'll be finishing work at 3pm tmr. i shd feel great abt it, but im not. Im on leave this fri n i shd feel great abt it, but im not. My brother's wedding is coming, and i shd feel excited abt it, but im not. my gf is getting a new bag herself, n i shd b happy coz tt wil save me quite alot, but im not.

I tink im such a pest to kp bothering my gf for how lousy im feeling nw. i ought to be shot. Someone, come blow me up rite here in my head wif a bazooka! I wish i dun hv high expectations. I duno wats got into me n im just lik a chg person overnite. I used to be so contented wif wat i hv and everyting. But nw i tink wat i hv is really nothing. Expecting so much will only make me feel more dissapointed and less motivated in everything that i do. Damn. I tink i just wana go to the beach now and scream out loud. Oh yes, den somebody wil jus be lik shouting bk at me "SHUT UP LAH!". Singapore's beach sux. Its not even quiet n romantic. Tonnes of ppl camping der in their portable tents by the beach. Wa lau, dun even hv a gd place for me to scream my heart out. Argghh......

24mins more to go before logging into my IB again.... i hope i wil feel better by den.

Sat Evon & I had a gers day out! haha we went shopping and did manicure/pedicure together. Sometimes it's good not to have the boys ard so dat we can shop all day long w/o being nag at. haaa! Anyway the boys joined us after our manicure session.
We headed down to Toca me after a torturing dinner at this hk restaurant at bugis junction dat served super oily food...

Oh ya Evon congratz!!!! i noe it's not 100% confirm yet but i am sure u'll make it thr... i mean it's difficult to fail health check rite? haha so happy for ya! I duno if it's coincidence or not.. but i reckon it works for u!..good luck is coming your way. i hope mine will work too... I also need some good luck :)

Oh ya there is this place i have to blog abt... Peperoni pizza! The pizza crust is really thin... unlike those at pizza hut... The finger food were fine but the pizza was fabulousssss. Juz that the place were filled with ang mo.... which i dun really lk.. haha as they can be quite noisy sometimes esp the kids.. other den tat it's really a great place to have pizza...

Anyway it's located at Bukit Timah..cant really remember the address... haha frens who are interested can text my gf for the address.

*36 days to our Taipei trip*

Happy 80th Bdae Granny!

Went Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant at Turf City yesterday to celebrate my granny's 80th bdae. You can really see the glow on her face when everybody turn up. All her children and grandchildren crowding ard her, queing up to give her Ang Baos. I guess gathering like this really mk an elderly v v happy. Though to me, it was kinda boring coz i dun get to mit my gf. But i guess tis giv me a chance to catch up wif my cousins abit. Singing ktv together in the room brings bk memories when we were young. We used to be kids running around the place. And now we r all grown ups, working, some r even married and approaching parenthood really soon. didn't brought my cam along so theres no pics to furnish with.

Attended one of my Primary school classmate's wedding last week. It was held at Conrad. So she's the 2nd one in the group to get married. So whos next? Will Yve be the next to tie the knot?! hahaha! Lets wait n see.



Anyway ive got my room almost done up. Except that ive yet to fixed up the lamp cover and to hang the decoratives on the wall. I bought a HP Pavillion A1597D that comes wif a 19'' LCD! n tis is so super shoik. They even come wif a remote control for the PC so that i can lie on my bed n watch DVDs! All i need is a bathroom in my room n i can coop myself in here 24hrs a day. Eh.. maybe not 24hrs unless i can keep my gf in my room too!



It seems like my next few mths r pretty much occupied and interesting programs! Some are P&C so i shan't disclose it here. It will be my brother's wedding next mth and i guess im quite prepared for it. Went to tailormade a shirt downstairs my office. The staffs there are really frenly. So i just hope that the shirt will turn out to b gd. Will be collecting it end of tis month. Oh and yes we r goin to Taiwan in december! The trip is more or less confirm. or shd i say its CONFIRM unless there are unforseen circumstances! Woah! Taiwan here i come! So nw we wil be bz planning the itinery for our trip. Our tix to Taipei is finally confirmed!! We will be taking SQ instead of budget air... Though the tixs are a little pricey, i reckon it's all worth it. Y torture ourselves ya? 4-5hrs flight with no entertainment and crampy seat is no joke.. hee.. HELLO TAIPEI!!

I guess ive been rather lazy lately. Other than working, completing my bro's gf's website for her online shopping boutique, i'll just be lazing on my bed. Nothing fufiling these few weeks, but i guess there are more to come...

Yes, my brother is getting married in Nov and i'll be a Aunt soon! hahaha! I truly doesn't like that! My brother has got together with his gf for about 12 yrs? Or even longer i guess. So its really time that they settle down. Im so excited about his wedding, ive nv experience wedding in my own family before and this is the first. He's going to hold his wedding at Marina Mandarin and we've went down to look at the ballroom, its huge! Im sure its gonna be the best wedding i'll ever attend, other than my own. hahaha!

Darling and me went for the agnes b closed door sale. dun really have chance to take pics, coz i was busy eating and she was busy buying things. We collected 2 sets for goodie bag as well!

We went to have a feast at Honjin Jap Restaurant few weeks back at Chow House. I love the jap buffet there. The sashimi is thick and fresh, tempura is really crispy and they're serve pipping hot upon ordering. It really worth the money!

I can talk nonstop..

Last week i dropped by H's place to get e present she got 4 me from Japan and we end up spending the next 3days at her place talking, gossiping nonstop. I'm really amazed by our stamina man! haha if u tot we did not meet/talk to each other for a long time? we actually happen to call each other up abt twice to thrice a week to chit chat, yet we wont run outta things to say... Oh did i 4get to mention dat we r neighbours too!...I reckon we can talk part in some talk nonstop contest.haa...

Anyway i juz went http://www.sistic.com/ to check out the tickets for Prague Sinfonia Orchestra. Guess wat? they only left 2nd level circle seat for Cat 2! Even Cat 1 which cost $250 per seat left limited seats. Wat should i do? i cant afford Cat 1 tix... perhaps i shall take the Cat 4 ticket.... Arghzz.. sigh... ermm.. watever.. Black Eyed Peas is coming too.. great! i cant go cos i so so bloody broke...



Yeah yeah yeah...We caught the movie 881 too. Nothing so yeah abt the movie. Though everybody seems to love it so much (even my gf and her mum love it) but I dun! Half of the time i was bz reading the subtitles... It's neither funny nor touching. I would say...there r even more touching movies ard. Well it's juz not my type of movie. License to wed was much a better show.

Random updates

Have jus fin 2 pprs, and finally ive got time to come online, n finishing up the rest of my brother's gf's website for her online shopping mall. haha! Im finding time to fin up watching the 9pm show on mobtv and some taiwanese variety show on crunchyroll. But i only have these few hrs on a Sunday evening to accomplish so many things before ive to hit the bed.

Anyways, met up wif the boys to catch the fireworks last nite. It was really spectacular. I guess the 1 hr waiting time was worthwhile. And thanx to Darren, who manage to find a really gd view to catch all these. When we reached der abt 8pm, it was stil rather empty, with quite a few available parking lots. As the time passed, there were more cars and more ppl. So by 9pm, the whole road were packed with people and cars, and that jus show hw boring Singapore is. Coz everybody wouldn't mind waiting for hrs, squeezing wif one another, jus to catch that 15mins of fireworks. So it was supper at out usual HK cafe. And i strongly tink that we nd to hv a new supper hang out, coz im sick n tired of the food der. haha! And we will jus end up watching tv der!

Ok i dun hv any pics to upload coz they're all in my gf's cam. So i'll hv to leave the uploading of the pics to her.. Can't wait for nx fri to come, wher we can hv another gathering at Darren's house again.

Sept is coming and we r going to attend this one day cupcakes lesson at Shermay's cooking class! I love new activities like that where i can njoy myself, n kp my gf company as well!!

On national day eve we met Darren, Evon, Joe and Charmaine to watch the Secret. I reckon it's the 1st time the 6 of us watch movie after so many yrs ya? Before heading to the cathay to catch our movie at 1.05am, Darren drove us to the airport to pick Evon up.



It's close to 1am, dat explains y the boys looked so sleepy. But not the girls! haahah esp Evon. She juz had a long flight and looked so radiant.




The secret is a simple yet beautiful high school love story but w an unexpected ending. I love to see Jay playing esp pieces such as Chopin Etude Op 5 No. 10.. So impressive.....


Oh if u ask me who is my fav in the movie... IT HAS TO BE THE CD GUY WITH THE BLUR AND OILY SPECS. haaaaaaaaaaaa!!! the sight of him makes me wannna laff. haaaa!!


I cant wait for the movie sountrack to be out...

Our 4th year Anniversary

Our anniversary was spent at Prego. And my gf surprised me with a bouquet of sunflowers! i wasnt expecting the flowers as she has spent alot on my present. Awww~~
